Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty
Ashton Blaise Whitty, an actor, was born on the 1st of October 1995 at Berkeley, California. She is an actress, known as the actress behind Choices (2010), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006) as well as Chrissie Mayr's Content House
Asia Argento was born in Rome, Italy, into the family of actors as well as filmmakers. Both are careers she has herself been pursuing. At the age of nine she was first seen in her debut film Sergio Cittis's Sogni e bisogni. In 1988 The Church, a film by Michele Soavi The Church was directed by Michele Soavi and she played part of the character Cristina Comencini's Zoo. She played Nanni Moretti's daughter in the next year for Red Wood Pigeon (also directed Moretti) (1989). Close Friends (1992) by Michele Placido (both writer and director) is the year that Asia really began to begin to take off. This helped her move from the roles of young girls into more complex and mature character. It was received well in the Cannes International Film Festival. For Trauma (1993) it was the first time she worked for the first time with her father, famed Italian horror director Dario Argento (her mother is one of Argento's favorite actresses, Daria Nicolodi, playing an anorexic girl in search for her parents' killer. The Phantom of the Opera is a film that was created in collaboration with her father who passed away The Phantom of the Opera is the third three movies she's been involved in. The other two were Trauma as well as The Stendhal Syndrome. Giuseppe Piccioni employed her deeply absorbed and intense style of acting in the film Condannato a Nozze. Also, she was a part of the performance in the international ensemble of Queen Margot produced by Patrice Chereau. The collaboration she had with Michel Piccoli, in Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion won her yet another award, this time the David di Donatello and Grolla of Oro. Asia started directing short films in 1994. She made two: Prospettive, 1996, she directed a documentary about her father and then Abel/Asia, 1998, on the legendary director Abel Ferrara. This latter was awarded at the Rome Film Festival. Asia started directing her first feature-length film in 1999, with Scarlet Diva (2000). The film also featured her as the principal performer, as well as the creator of the film's script. In May of 2000, the film was released both in Italy and around the globe. The film was given a special prize at the Williamsburg Film festival in Brooklyn. Anna Lou was born in 2001 following her directing some music videos. In 2002, Asia starred as Jean-Marc Barr's co-star in The Red Siren (Olivier Megaton) and Vin Diesel was the star in Rob Cohen's thriller The Action. Asia can also be the creator of several short stories, which have appeared in numerous high-end magazines.
